FEET CARE If it has been very wet your goats may have foot scald or feet that are soft. Dipping them in a solution of copper sulphate may help to dry them out. Or you can use zinc sulphate solution to dry out feet. Make sure you trim regularly and keep an eye on feet.
BICARB A small amount of bicarb soda added to grain mix can help prevent acidosis. Bicarb acts as a digestion buffer and can help prevent bloat.
APPLE CIDER VINEGAR Apple Cider Vinegar added to drinking water is benefical for bucks and does. It can help prevent urinary calculi in bucks. Do not feed too much grain to wethers and bucks.
STOCKHOLM TAR This is great to apply to split hooves or if you cut the hoof too short and it bleeds. It protects small nicks and cuts in the hoof. I have also used it when kids have butted heads and the horn bud is bleeding
